Rocky Shore Research T2 W4

At the start of week 2, we made our Rocky Shore on a google drawing and compared the things like same and different. We also wrote what we do as a kaitiaki to save the rocky shore, without any rubbish. We walked down to Rocky Shore and did some inquiry with our group. We found lots of sea animals like starfish,crabs and others.

Term 2 Week 3 Math Goals

At the start of Term 2 we had to write our new goals for math. We chose our own goals for our math. We had to get the term 1 math goals that we didn't achieve. Mrs Pou made the WALTs for us so she could know what math we were on. I had to do more work than last term.

Week 2 Term 2 Writing Goals

At the start of Term 2 we had to copy and paste the goals that we achieved last term and make new goals so next term when we make a new writing goal we can just check whenever we are stuck on.

Fractions Wall

W.A.L.T to make a fractions wall. First we had to cut twelve pieces of paper the same length. First  we glued one whole strip. Then we folded another strip in 1/2 before cutting it in half and gluing it on our wall. We repeated this in 1/3, 1/6, 1/9 as well as 1/4, 1/5, 1/8, and 1/10.

Alphabetical Alliteration

W.A.L.T write an alphabetical book using alliteration.

T-Rex my Dionsaur

Today we wrote a reader for our younger buddies. We had know what words our buddy could read then we had to write using a sentence structure like the sentences in my buddy, Piripi's readers.

W.A.L.T have a good relationships. We used puppets as our characters. Our title was Don’t trust Bullies. In life we need to work individually and together as a team.

Secondly, we got messed up with Mrs N computer it didn't work so we used Tania's computer it worked
